The Lost Way
This shot is intended to lead the viewer into the depths of the landscape, where a dilapidated stone wall makes its way through the still water and disappears into the horizon. The calm surface of the water and the gentle gradient of the sky create a peaceful and almost meditative atmosphere.
The contrast between the rough, worn stones and the smooth, pristine water emphasizes the tension between the man-made and the natural. The fading lines of the wall symbolize the passage of time and the transience of human constructions in the face of eternal nature.
This scene is intended to invite the viewer to reflect on the path we take and the traces we leave behind. It is a silent dialog between past and present, between what has been and what may yet come. A moment of reflection on the permanence and changeability of life.
The picture was taken in Marsala, Sicily
